Spring seems to have finally arrived but not the Tribunal decision regarding 150 Belconnen Way, Scullin which involves plans for six two-storeyed townhouses on a single block near Mackinolty Street. The ACTPLA decision for fifteen townhouses at 7-9 Smith Street, Weetangera has not yet been received, either.
We made a brief submission on the development proposal for 67-71 Belconnen Way, Weetangera, mainly because of the location of the driveway on the feed-in lane to Springvale Drive. This Development Application was refused and the three blocks are now for sale with a different, but not approved, plan that relocates the driveway.

Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday 12 October from 7.30 pm at 92 Erldunda Circuit, Hawker. The agenda includes: Acceptance of minutes of 2016 AGM, Annual Report and Treasurer’s Report; appointment of auditor for 2018 and public officer; plus election of the committee – convenor, deputy convenor, secretary, treasurer and ordinary members.
